Frequently Asked Questions
When are you coming for my service?
You will be receiving an automated notice 48 hours prior to service with the specific day and time frame that your service is on schedule. The reason for our method of scheduling is that a properly applied treatment is dependent upon it not raining to the point of "run off" (where rainwater runs off the lawn) at the time of application and forecasts can be inaccurate beyond a few days.
Will my Technician let me know he is on his way?
Yes! If you have a cell phone on file with us, you will receive a text message notification saying that he is heading in your direction. If you do not have a cell phone, your technician will call prior to driving to your location. If you would prefer NOT to have notice, just let us know!
It is raining today. Is my Titan technician still coming?
If your service includes interior treatment, we will be by regardless of rain to complete the interior portion of your service. A return trip for completion of the exterior portion of your service will be scheduled on a day that is convenient for you. If there are weather conditions that compromise the safe arrival of your Titan technician, you will instead be receiving a call to reschedule. No products are labeled to be sprayed outside if it is raining to the point of "run off" (where rainwater runs off the lawn). This includes granular insecticides.
What if I can't be home for the service?
Not a problem! Most insects that are invading your home are coming from outside. If you aren't available to be home, please ensure that your technician has access to the exterior perimeter of your home. If there are any codes that the technician will need to gain access to your home, please contact our office to make sure that they will be put on the notes for your technician.
I have an appointment with you already scheduled, but something came up and I won't be able to make it. What should I do?
If there are any issues inside that you would like your technician to take care of, please give our office a call to schedule for a time that works better for you. If there are no issues inside to address then it’s even easier! Just please have the outside of your home accessible for your technician and put pets away indoors. If there are any issues between services, you're covered! Any necessary return visits needed to address ongoing pest issues are included in the service.
Is your treatment safe around my pets/family/me?
At Titan we take every precaution to ensure that you and your family are not put at risk. By not spraying baseboards and instead treating the cracks, crevices, and voids that bugs live and hide, it minimizes any potential for exposure. You are also not required to leave your home during or after most treatments.
Will it harm my plants/yard?
As part of our process in selecting the products that we use to control the pests around your home, we examine each product to ensure that all of the products that we use have a low phytotoxicity (this is the attribute that harms plants). By being aware of this in the products we select, there should not be any issue with any plants being affected. However, as an additional precaution, we do still avoid treating marked garden areas, potted plants, and flowering plants as these are more susceptible to damage or being harmful to pollinators.
Do you offer an Organic service?
The Laws state clearly that:
"A licensee must not use false, misleading or deceptive advertising. Examples of statements or representations which constitute false, misleading or deceptive advertising include the following: (10) claims that the pesticides and other substances the licensee applies, the applications of such pesticides, or any other use of them, are "environmentally friendly", "environmentally sound", " environmentally aware", " environmentally responsible", " pollution approved", "contain all natural ingredients", "organic", or are "among the least toxic chemicals known""
With that being said. We do carry several products, derived from plant oils, that have insecticidal properties.

I own multiple properties, do you offer a discount?
Absolutely! Just as you can save money when you bundle your Titan services on one home, you can save across multiple homes as well. Want to mix and match services at several properties? Not a problem, we will work with you on pricing to save you money and address your specific concerns at each property.
I lock my gates, will that be a problem?
Not at all! For locked gates there are just a few things that have to be considered. If you would like you can call us to schedule a time during which you can be home to permit access. As this interferes with your busy schedule we recommend that, instead, you use a combination lock and let the office know of the code to provide to your Titan technician. Your technician will arrive, take care of the service, and lock the gate back up after they finish, ensuring that access to your property remains restricted to those you have permitted.
If I have a problem between services, will it cost me more to have you come back out?
We stand by our service, and as long as the pests are warranted you are covered for the return visit. All of our General pest services come with a 60-day guarantee.

The technician treated my house recently, and since then I've seen more bugs. Why is this?
When your Titan technician treats the exterior perimeter of your home, it causes a "flush out" where insects that were hiding under the soil against the foundation of your home run. They normally don't make it very far, but you can expect that the treatment can cause increased visible activity for up to a week or so. This is especially common among first time treatments.

How much are your services?
To give you a better quote, it is always best to have a technician come and look around the property and determine the correct treatment to address your specific needs. We do not charge for inspections and assessments within standard service radius.
